Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated 18 August 2026
This page explains how to cancel and how to ask for a refund. Class Cookies is run by Jacobus Johannes Barnard, a sole trader. Payments are handled by Paddle, who are the seller of record.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page. You do not need to email anyone and you do not need to give a reason.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that it does not renew and you are not charged again.
Cancelling does not delete your work. Your classes, students, comments, scores and lists all stay in your account, and you can still read them. You cannot add new ones until you subscribe again.
Refunds on the yearly plan
If you are on the yearly plan at $59 a year, you can request a refund within 30 days of the payment.
Email admin.classcookies@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us you would like a refund. We will pass the request to Paddle, who process the payment back to your original payment method. Refunds are approved by Paddle, and money usually reaches you within about ten working days once approved.
The monthly plan
The monthly plan at $6.99 a month does not come with a 30 day refund. It is a short commitment already: you can cancel any time, there is no lock-in, and you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.
If something has gone wrong, email us anyway. We would rather sort it out than leave a teacher unhappy.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. If a renewal has caught you by surprise, email us within 30 days on the yearly plan and we will handle it under the section above.
Free tools
The classroom timer, the spinner wheel and the scoreboard are free and need no account, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
Your rights
This policy is in addition to any right you have under consumer law where you live. It does not take those rights away.
